Answers and the Epilogue

Karen! Why do you have grass stains
all over
you?! Her mother hollered.
Itıs a long story mom, I didnıt think
I'd get
dirty. But an unexpected turn of advents
occurred.
After Karen told her mother what
happened, there
was a long talk, many questions, and a
request to talk
to Marah, Asuka, Robert, and Mr.J.
Eventually, the
meeting took place and they all discussed
the mater.
Within the conversation, Robertıs long
sense questions
were answered. The ones of, who the rough
man with the
shot gun was, what the horrible thing was
that
everyone kept referring to, and, who must
have shot at
them.
To record the entire conversation would
be long at
tedious to read, so hereıs the basics with
all the
important detail.
The man with the shot gun, and scowl
was named Gary
Watson. He was an old army general who had
lost his
position because he was caught beating
some of the
children of his troopsı native guides.
This may sound
interesting because of the fact that
natives were
looked down on, and treated as animals,
but these were
natives with laws protecting them. They
helped with
the trades, scouting, and much more. Any
ways, ever
sense
Gary had
grouped up all the men who wanted
indiansı dead, and took them out hunting
for helpless
people who were not of their race. His
group on one
night about 10 years ago, had attacked
Marahıs camp.
The mob had murdered many, leaving
Marah's and
Asukaıs parents, along with relatives, and
friends,
dead. Asuka had taken care of her two year
old sister
while being forced to live in a
reservation. When
Marah was ten, her and her sister escaped,
and walked
for two months back home.
When they came back, they stayed with a
Nez Perz
tribe. Ever sense
Gary has been
trying to kill them.
So this leaves only one logical person who
would
and
most likely had, shot at them.
Gary.
Mr.J,
Mrs.Mavanio and Asuka notified the city
leaders, and
jail.
The next week Robert was sent home in
case another
incident would occur. Karen was grounded
for three
weeks, and so was Marah. This restraint of
freedom was
for more safety reasons then punishment.
Gary was
arrested two months later, but not because
of what
happened with the trio. He had some how
proven himself
innocent. He was arrested because he had
accidentally
shot a 55 year old man, while aiming at
what he
thought to be a native. Three years later,
Asuka, and
Marah left with Chief Joseph in a long
journey to
Canada.
Karen, and Davy both grew up to be teachers.
Robert joined the army when he was old
enough, and
served the country. The three
unfortunately never met
again, but, always wondered what had
happened to their
friends of that summer, and the many more
adventures
they could have had.
